HIIT Pilates is ‘high intensity interval training’ working with Pilates principles of control, focus, precision, breath, flow and muscle activation to build core strength, muscle tone and flexibility. It involves combining the strength training aspects of traditional Pilates with short bursts of cardio activity and resistance training, to burn calories whilst toning and sculpting your body. The sessions are performed on a yoga mat and designed to be low impact without running or jumping to help protect joints and muscles. Each session finishes with stretching and a beautiful mindful meditation to promote mental clarity and enhance emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
